Where Are the Girls From Flavor of Love
You know what time it is? Funny you should ask! This month marks the sixth anniversary since Flavor Flav stopped handing out giant clocks and searching for the perfect woman on VH1's Flavor of Love .
The series, made popular partly due to its dramatic female contestants, helped pave the way for countless spinoffs, including I Love Money , Charm School , I Love New York , and others.

And even though Flav ended the third (and final) season reunion in 2008 with a shocker (he met a woman away from the show that he's in love with?!), fans still think highly of the series that provided so many LOL and OMG moments.
In celebration of the show's milestone, we decided to check in with some of the most memorable contestants. From their thoughts on Flav today, to their true opinions on contestant New York, these girls continue to tell it like it is. Yeah, boy!
Check out a clip from Flavor of Love:
Hoopz
Although she ended up winning the show in Season 1, Hoopz admits she didn't spend much time with Flav once cameras stopped rolling. "I feel like we went on two dates," she told Yahoo TV. "It wasn't long at all [but] I still love him to death."
After the show ended, Hoopz began dating former NBA player Shaquille O'Neal, which she considers "the best thing that's ever happened to me." Awwww.
Hoopz is now gearing up for her latest project. Her new Oxygen reality show, titled Aunt Nikki, will give viewers a look inside Hoopz's unique and chaotic modern family on a ranch in rural Knoxville, Tennessee. The show could air as early as this fall.
Saaphyri
She may have lasted only one week in Flav's mansion, but Saaphyri made quite the impression on fans when she had "a little bad fight" involving a contestant who wouldn't give up her bed space.
Still hilarious and outspoken, Saaphyri currently has a man, but points out to us, "He has not put a ring on it so I'm still single. If no ring, I'm still single."
She also went through quite the transformation as she underwent plastic surgery on E!'s upcoming seriesBotched. Starring Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif from the Real Housewives franchise, the show follows a select group of patients as they undergo life-changing surgeries.
"I got me some new ta-tas and stomach," she told Yahoo TV. "Dr. Terry Dubrow is the bomb. If he was not married [to Heather Dubrow], he would definitely be on my look-look list." The episode is slated to air later this summer.
Buckwild
"It's time to get Buckwild!" One of our favorite contestants who came straight out of Upland, Calif., admits her life today is "pretty normal." She's single with no kids and works as a manager for a toy store. After Saaphyri underwent plastic surgery, Buckwild allowed her close friend to stay and recover at her house.
Buckwild assures fans everything she did on the show was very real. "I wish viewers knew that all reality TV isn't fake," she told Yahoo TV. "Why would I turn down a chance to kiss one of the most famous grills in the world?"
Krazy
Despite some harsh criticism from her fellow contestants during the show, Krazy has continued to pursue a career in music. She resides in Los Angeles, where she is recording in the studio and working as a professional DJ.
When it comes to Flav, Krazy still has a soft spot for the rapper, even after all these years. "He should have picked me. What can I say?" she told Yahoo TV. "I will always have a lot of love for him."
How she feels about contestant New York, on the other hand, may be a different story. "She apologized for her actions and I let it go," Krazy said. "I can't lie, though. Yes, she is a mega-b----. But that is why everyone loves to hate New York."
Smiley
Happily married to a doctor and raising her three children, Smiley is now focused on her education. "I go to Los Angeles City College," she revealed to Yahoo TV. "I decided to take up filmmaking and computer programming."
Looking back on the show, Smiley assures fans she didn't sign up to further her modeling career. "It was honestly perfect timing because I was going through a divorce at that time and it was an escape," she explained. "If you play back the tape, you'll see my reaction come up of 'What the hell did I get myself into?'"
Although she remains close with Sapphyri and Buckwild, Smiley is still bummed about the demise of her relationship with Pumpkin. "When we broke up our friendship, that was really for real," she confessed. "That's one thing I didn't appreciate with her."
Hottie
Viewers may remember Hottie for her lack of cooking skills when she was asked to bake Flav's mom's chicken recipe. In her defense, Hottie had a pretty good excuse. "Being a vegetarian, I had never cooked a chicken in my life," she told Yahoo TV. "I certainly never handled a raw one to be cooked from scratch."
Although many contestants questioned her behavior, Hottie managed to remain friendly with some cast members including Toastee and Like Dat. "I considered the relationships on the show like co-worker relationships," she clarified. "Come in, be polite, do your job, get the ratings, and leave."
New York
Although we were unable to reach New York for a full interview, we found out the HBIC is happily in love. According to her Facebook, New York has been engaged for several months. She also found it in her heart to forgive Pumpkin for spitting on her in Season 1. The two were photographed together at a Hollywood event several years ago.
Reports also suggest New York is headed back to TV with a new reality show called Ratchet Queens . We'll have to wait and see.
